Profile Chris began his real tennis career at the Oxford University Tennis Court between 1971 and 1972. In 1973 he (and his family) moved to Australia and began working at the Royal Melbourne Tennis Club. In 1978 he returned to the UK and moved to Troon. Then, in 1979 moved to London and started work at the Royal Tennis Court. In 1981 Chris won the title of World Champion, something he retained until 1987. His involvement in tennis has not been only as a player. He is a major share holder in the club at Holyport, a minor share holder at Ballarat and also at Romsey. Chris is a publisher of 12 tennis books and has also written his own book (and produced a video) on Tennis: Tennis - A Cut Above The Rest. He has also been a long serving member of the T&RA Tennis Committee - 1980-1993 and 1996 until the present time. |
